Scott and Kelly Lidgard provide exceptional real estate services in the cities of Orange and Villa Park as well as neighboring communities.  The Lidgards launched Lidgard Real Estate Services over 10 years ago founded on a vision of integrity and professionalism.  They pride themselves on the quality of their services and place less emphasis on the quantity of their clients.  Specializing in adding value to homes prior to marketing, the Lidgards have a hands-on approach to business.

“It can be as simple as refreshing the paint and putting clutter away,” Kelly says.  “Or, sometimes it takes bringing in a contractor to install granite countertops, new appliances or carpeting.  We have complied a list of quality, reliable contractors and suppliers that can provide almost anything we dream up.”

Scott has been a real estate appraiser for over 25 years, which gives him a unique insight to the market.  He has been a licensed real estate agent since he was 18, and since starting the real estate brokerage, has been working as both a real estate agent and an appraiser.  He is certified Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and the CCIM Institute. 

Kelly has been a licensed realtor for seven years.  She was a stay at home mom, taking care of their two boys when they were young, then got her license and joined Scott in the real estate business.  Working for themselves give Scott and Kelly the liberty of playing active roles in the lives of their two boys.

What sets Scott and Kelly apart is their ability to make things happen.  “We’ve had customers who have moved out, handed us the keys and said, “Just do it,” Scott explains.  The couple has invested in real estate themselves since they were in their twenties, buying homes, renovating them and then putting them back on the market.  With their extensive experience in renovation, clients can trust their abilities to sell homes.“Being able to make our clients happy—to go the extra mile for them—is what it is all about,” Kelly says.  “The monetary reward is a bonus, but the real reward is having clients who are pleased and impressed with our successful and professional relationship.” 

The Lidgards are continuing to grow their business, while focusing on expanding the brokerage.  Scott plans to retire from appraising in a few years so he can concentrate on the investment side of real estate full time.“We have clients now who want to establish investment portfolios,” Kelly explains. “We are excited to help them do that.” 

Marketing themselves is not in Kelly and Scott’s nature.  They rely on the referrals of satisfied clients and their involvement in the community to expand the business.  Scott and Kelly believe in supporting the community and make it a priority to donate to local events and charities.
